the car is a 94 shadow v6 5spd ,the tranny is from a 90+ daytona (not sure of year ) ,the cables are also from a daytona . the clutch doses have some rough miles on it (don't think this is the issue but i could be wrong) . it really started to bother me with the new car (swapped everything over from my other shadow , im on #4 now all v6 5spds :D ) some times i have to really push the pedal through the floor to get it in gear well push harder than i should have to and down shifts it grinds almost all the time unless i ease it in .mind you i drive this every day . now i know if the tranny isnt in the right spot the cable is affected and i have polly mounts and all clips are there and cables were there suppost to be . did not look at the back of the pedal to see were that adjuster is yet . but i was looking at the service manuals and they show an adjustment on the tranny by removing this lockpin and flipping it locking it in neutral then adj the cable on the shifter so that it too in in neutral ,says in the event of hard shifting . now does anyone think i should have to do this , everything looks to right and nothing is missing ,it really isnt a big issue just got on my nerves today and i still have two weeks vaca left so i figured id look in to it . ill wait to do anything till i hear some advice ,maybe some one has done this or you trans guys will shed some knoliage

if i remember correctly slip your foot under the clutch peddle and lift it up. that will adjust it. if not you may need a new cable.
I haven't experienced this but I believe there are different clutch cable lengths for early and late cars. A clutch cable that is too long wont allow the clutch to fully disengage even with the adjuster adjusted as far as it will go. I suggest you check the adjuster to see if it adjusted as far as it will go and if it still won't operate properly you might need to use an older style (shorter?) clutch cable.
According to the Chrysler Parts Catalog there are 4 different cables from 90-94.
1990 - #4505533
1991 thru 01/02/1992 - #4641146
01/03/1992 thru 1994 - #4670754

What is the difference in length between this cables???

The cables listed on Rock Auto do not show any of these #'s and the # they do show crosses to a 1988 Cable so they are not correct.
None of those #'s cross to a Dorman #.
I have never experienced a problem with a clutch cable but only read about other having this issue.
4 cables ? greeeaat ! this is something that i had but really didn't bother me ,but vacation and time to spare i figured id do some things i've been putting off . i thought all the shadows would have had the same length .oh thanks guy let me see what i find
I put a '91/'92(?) 523 trans in my friends '94 2.5 Shadow and could tell there was a clutch problem right off the bat when I tried to adjust it. Then I remembered they changed cables and clutch levers around that time. I pulled the clutch lever off his original trans and installed it on the replacement one. Then everthing was fine.

You may try your old lever, if you still have the old trans, or try to find one off a '92(?) '93-'94 543/523 trans.

You said you swapped everything over from another Shadow, what year was it?
all cars were autos converted to manual . i have had all the same parts in all the cars and have only ran in to a problem now the clutch was used from the last one when put in to this one and i think the clutch feels funny but ive never felt a slipping clutch . i have had all 93s and this 94 it snowed today so i couldnt go out and look at it at all next day i have a chance im gunna climb under the dash and see were that pedal adjuster is sitting only thing that is not from the other cars is the pedal assembly ,i got that from a guy on here and i forget what exactly he said it was out of and who i got it from . thats the only new part in the mess now that i think about it
