Pull the clutch pedal up by hand and hold the auto adjust mechanism so it lets go of the piece that holds the cable. This will let the spring pull the cable down and put more tension on it. When you push in the clutch you should feel resistance, then near the floor it should get really easy and not require much force to hold to the floor.
And since your shadow is a 93 you will have to find the speed sensor wires in the automatic harness and splice into those, I'm not sure what/where those wires are since I never had to do it before.
