I have read the info about wiring in an external voltage regulator. I just want to make sure I do this swap correctly. I would also like to install a better alternator. The complete alternator sub harness on my '86 GLH is beyond help. I have a brand new factory harness for an '84 turbo Dodge. What I am doing is adding an external voltage regulator to the car. The '84 and '86 harnesses are nearly identical. I have already removed the pinout for the AC. I realize that It would be easy to make the '84 harness identical to the '86 but I think there would be some unnecessary work. What say you?
