Recent development...low speeds, 10-15mph, ease into gas, and I get this annoying chirping noise...happens when I give gas, or let off...Clutch? Tranny? Motor mounts? I cant localize it...it sounds VERY uncool at parking lot/cruising speeds.... :bash: Tips? [email protected]

Check the bell housing bolts and if you can get the lower plate off, check that the flywheel isn't loose. Does it go away if you accelerate hard? You should be able to reproduce it with the front up on jackstands and the car in gear with someone applying light brake pressure. That along with a stethiscope (or a peice of vacuum hose) may help you track it down.

Check the exhaust donut. It seems to be a squeek point.

Under accel, it goes away...the car is "bucking" now at low RPM and speeds...I am trying to find out if the O2 sensor is freaking out on me...and thats when it really squeaks, when the car bucks back and forth...Today, early, cool OAT temps, in the City, I heard it again, and it didnt seem to be drivetrain related, so I will have a peek at the exhaust...
