Specifically the are showing the casting number? Im sending someone else out on a search for one at a junkyard and it would be nice if they had a pic of what to look for so there is no confusion.

Okay..looks like TDG has pics of a 445 casting number...anyone got one of the 287 or 655? Does the 655 look different from the outside than the 287 / 782 / 445?

a 655 head will only have 1 lug for the a/c bracket - closest to the end of the head
the number 655 should be easy to see on the front

445 heads also have cam cap studs instead of bolts.

easy way to identify- casting numbers are on the head near the #4 spark plug, many times they will be covered with grease, but they are there.

and like stated above 655 heads have no A/C bracket bosses on the front part of the head.
