well anythings possible. But basically no, you need an adapter and use a 904 or 727 rwd trans. There were like very few "baby" 904's made, its a 904 with the 2.2/2.5 bellhousing and AFAIK only 3 have ever been seen. I heard something about old mail carrier trucks that had rwd 2.5 so???

Hmm, the old mail trucks I have seen with 2.5L engines had GM built Iron Dukes in them (pushrod 2/3 Chevy 6 cyl) with turbo Hydra-matics.

do the jeep 2.5's (cam in block) share the bell housing pattern?

either way, AW4's are freaking bullit proof, 4 speed, elec controlled (simple on/off solenoids)

also the same auto that were used in the supra's

level 10 makes some upgrades for them, good for 700 horse or something crazy.

stock, my aw4 with 160k on it held up fine to my jeep stroker, estimated 325-350lb/ft
