Running a modified 89 2.5L CB turbo, and still only see about 5100 rpm before it revs out and shifts. A413 tranny and slider cam, S-60 SMEC set 21 psi, but I read those on the threads getting 6000+ rpm on these engines. What are the best build requirements, or setting changes to get even 5600 rpm out of the 2.5. Thx

Still won't go over 5100 rpm. Gets there fast then just stalls in that zone. Let off the throttle just slightly, and shifts instantly. I can adjust the kick down to shift earlier say 5000 rpm, but I'm looking to run closer to 5600 before shifting. Not sure what's holding it back. SMEC, Rev limiter?
