I was wondering if any of you guys could give me some help. I am running a hobbs pressure switch tied into a solenoid to controll the boost and it does what it is supposed to but it makes the boost swing back and forth from 9-14 over and over again. Does anyone know of a better (quicker reacting switch) or a speacial way to hook it up that helps reduce the boost flutter?

Any help would be much appreaciated!

You won't be able to get that working with just a switch and solenoid. I've been there and tried that. There's a reason the ECU has about 3 tables devoted just to boost control/WG solenoid activation. You'll either need to run a G-valve, make some type of proportional PWM control for the solenoid, or get a cal.

Go to Dempseybowling.com, he's got diagrams for all sorts of boost controllers, including the one you are trying. Your switch isn't quick-acting, NAPA sells one that is. Done properly, that setup is pretty sweet. It won't work with a suck-through turboI, though.
