I got a question, tore down a common block and I see stamping marks where the oil pan seals, they are directly behind each bore. There's 3 ''C's'' and 1 ''B'', should I assume thats what size pistons where originally in the bore?
The pistons that are in it aren't original so I don't know.
But I'm putting back in stock Mahle pistons, problem is should I but back in 3 C's and a B piston?
Right now I have C pistons on hand, but can probably get a B no problem if I just post up a WTB ad here.
Problem is I do NOT have any way to accurately measure the bore size. Will I be OK if I just put in the C's?
Anybody know how much difference there is between each piston A, B, C, D?
