Borla exhaust?

For some stupid reason, my Canadian Tire will not get Dynomax exhaust. At all. Ever. They suck.

Anyways, anyone have experience with a Borla Turbo straight-through muffler?

Borla's are popular here with the lowered 3 Series BMW crowd...has a low, nice sound..
Is Cambodian Tire your only option?

Are you in some boon town?
Borla is about the same...except cost more. Except their new Pro XS line of mufflers. Which are about the same in a stainless steel package.
I have a 3" Borla on my GLH. Sounds very nice. Not loud or ricey and not as deep as say, a Mustang. If Canadian Tire is your only option, then maybe you should look at other places. Try a muffler shop, maybe they can 'special' order one for you, or Mopac, if you have one in your area.

I'm 7 hours from the next biggest city. Ordering a muffler would mean I have to pay for freight/shipping.

Thompson Manitoba.
have you looked in the canadian tire specialty auto parts catalog? Its like 500pages of goodness. I could have sworn dyno max was in there...i'll check in mine when i get home. Hey, i have a cat back borla system on my toyota, very nice, so it may not be to bad of a compromise.

Oh, Dynomax is in there. I asked the Ct parts guy, to which he replied "We don't order in Dynomax."

I think he was just being a dick.

Anywhoo, I called Minute Muffler in winnipeg, and they're ordering in a Race Bullit for me :thumb:
check my post in the lounge, there is a mailin rebate for dynomax, an ultrsflow is costing me the same as a regula race bullet, around $30 - $35

Check out the Magnaflow. It sounds inredible. No rasp like the dynomax, and is a deep rumble and it doesnt resonate!!!!

Here it is... I put a square tip on it. It sounds soo good.

In regards to Frank's comment....

Has anyone swapped from a Dynomax to a Magnaflow on the same car. I say this cause I have a Dynomax on the k car and Frank has a magnaflow on the Daytona... Neither of us have heard each others car at full tilt so our discussion and decision that magnaflow sounds better than the Dynomax could be a little off. Just curious.

Brian
I heard yours when reving it last year. We will have to wait till SDAC. :)

Frank
yeah. :) I have a feeling that the magnaflow will sound different but we'll see.
