Hi guys,

Great site with lots of shared info!

I bought my Charger Shelby Turbo in May of '86 and still drive it regularly if little. My wife loves it but she has problems with her clutch foot and can't run the mountain roads like we used to.

The Santa Fe Blue car has been kept stock, regularly maintained and gave up 31.5 MPG on a recent 1200 mile, 70 MPH round trip from N.C. to Philly and back. The odometer rolled past 62,000 just 50 miles from home.

My favorite road near home is a stretch of 2 lane that rivals the Tail of the Dragon. It's 5.5 miles, elevation changes 1500 feet with 35 turns. Only place on pavement I've gotten this hyperactive slot car to oversteer!

Best regards to all, Shelbot86

Yes it's fast, No you can't drive it:thumb:
