on my 87 shelby z, i replaced the brake pads and rotors on the rear with new stock ones. my problem is the hydraulic brakes work but my parking brake stopped in the process it still feels like its being applied and the parts are moving on the calipers, but the parking brake wont hold the wheel and it did before i replaced them. is there an adjustment on the caliper or what do i have to do to get this working again.

also its an 555 trans with a remote start so i dont like sticking it in gear to hold the car in place

I know this is an old post, but did you get it figured out? i just did the rear pads on my 88 shelby tonight. Did you reset the allen head adjusting screw on the back of the caliper after you put the caliper back on? That's the only adjustment that I can think of.
