I want to put a CAI on my 2.5L T1, but I don't know how it will effect the cooling on the ECU. Any tips or advice?

if people have over heating of the ECU after a different filter is added they're not posting it. I wouldn't think it is a big deal

I'm not looking to add just a filter, though. I'm adding a full cold air intake system.

irrelevant, as none of the custom air cleaner setups with a cone filter etc run through the computer. And still no big problems have popped up

That's what I was wondering. I just wanted to make sure the extra air being drawn through was absolutely critical or not.

You'll be good. All of my Daytonas/Spirits have had the ECU disconnected from intake since I got them and I've never had any issues.

mine pulls cool air into the computer :) I can watch the temp of the Cold air box change after starting the car because the ECU is inside of it.

Cold Air Intake
I see another guy doing that box like yours right now
