I have been running ok with 8v cals all along, loosing a lot of
high boost power but smooth right up to 20 psi. There are no
over the counter generic baselines thru our vendors yet for the
16v SMEC cals yet. Plan on going it on your own for now, not
much luck in willing vendors. Best cal to date for me is one Gary
made for a car I aquired, 2.5/16v/SMEC in my 2.2/16v/SMEC.
I know Rob Pachner ran 10.06 with one of our cals. We changed the rev limiter recently for him, because with that 10 sec. run he was hitting the rev limiter, and thought he could run nines if he could go higher. But then again his set-up was using 72 pph injectors plus Rob's set-up is very well tuned. Our cal was a modified cal based on some 16v maserati/lotus set-ups and flow numbers, so it wasn't designed originally for Rob, but it worked pretty darn good, and we are always open to making changes.

Firmly places foot in mouth....again...

Just gonna start forwarding every other paycheck
to FWD I guess. (sound of Cindy's phone ringing in
background).

I have had great luck with Cindy making custom calibrations. So far I think she has burned me six chips working out the bugs. The last cal is fabulous on the low compression motor! 38 mpg on the highway and low 7's in the eighth mile.

The stock Neon ecu makes a good horseshoe. That's about it. I keep two around to throw at the dog that takes a dump in my yard.

yes, coffee is a great idea. thank god for the person who desided to grind up a bean from a random plant and drink it to see what it does. hahaha:thumb:
Actually sheep farmers back in the day were curious on why the sheep were up all night and jittery after eating from a particular shrub.

At first they blamed Billy Bob for stalking....... :D
Has anyone tried using a stock cal?
I was wondering if it would work just to break it in, low/no boost?
I would like to go megasquirt but i'm not sure how long it will take me to figure it out.
I have got a 85' 14 PSI, 89 18 PSI, 87 18 PSI and a trim cal from Cindy. Hoping to try the trim cal soon finally. On my 16v I am going 89 SMEC and tuning it with D cal. Then when I have it perfect and I'm done with changes I want to buy a trim cal with my finished cal in it. The trim cal has allot of great street options!
