Trying to convert my lancer to a t2. I was looking for the stock plug for the asi and tps but can not find them in my harness. Can someone get me a pic of what I'm looking for and where it might be so I can get this done please.

ok I think I found the problem, tell me if this sounds right. On the 86 t1 engine there was a ais plug (2 wire) and a tps. (3 wire) Thoes 2 plugs went to another 6 prong plug (one was unused) and from there to the lm. (This is what i gathered from my fsm) I looked under the hood of my can and can find the 6 prong plug, i guess im missing the other side that has the ais and tps plug on it. Can I use one from a carbed car from the same year or do i need one from a turbo car. The other question is could I just tap into the plug i already have?

You are using an 86 Lancer T-1 harness and trying to connect to what year/model T-2?

The car is a 86 lancer es the engine is a 89 2.5 t2. I can't find the factory lancer plugs. I have the new tps and ais plugs from a 90 2.5 t1 spirit.

So you are trying to go from the combo AIS/TPS connector to a 4 wire AIS and 3 Wire TPS with seperate connectors?
