a very very large breaker bar. You could also take the car for a drive to get the o2 heated up.
use a torch and heat up the casting, cut off the wire and use a 7/8 deep well 6pt impact socket and a ½" inpact wrench... it will come out!!!!
Take the power steering pump off. That helps a bunch.
blast it with PB 5 times a day

then start it up to get it hot, and it should come out ALOT easier. but constantly hit the thing with blaster.
well bad thing is i got pissed off and already cut the wires off of it lol. i sprayed it down bout 10 times with the penetrater shit. i took off the power steering pump to get at it easier. that helped a little.gonna let it sit for a bit and if that dont work im gonna go borrow a blowtorch. by the way robert did you ever find that glh?
heat it with a torch that was the only way i could get mine off
what size is the darn O2 anyways, i found the 7/8 to be loose on mine
it is alot easier to get off with it heated. i use a o2 socket i got from oryielys a while back. just start the car and let it run like andrew said and when it gets hot it will come out. or use a torch.......
well 7/8's is right size it fits and all. but problem is i gotta find a torch cause i cant run the car cause i done cut the wires to the o2 sensor to get the socket on it. i dont really like the idea of trying to drive with no 02 feedback.

connect the wire back up and drive it
If you haven't already, use a normal socket since you said you cut the wires. Then get a MAP gas torch from the hardware store. Be prepared to heat it for almost 5 minutes straight. Heat the cast bung area (hoping to get it red), and try not to heat the O2 part at all. Use a breaker bar with a pipe over the handle for extra leverage. If that doesn't do it, then heat it back up again, and use an impact gun.
i got mine off just now with a cheater bar..... but it snapped the threads and now i have a housing with threads in it and no way to put a new O2 in
it shouldn't matter if the o2 sensor isn't hooked up, mine wasn't hooked up the first couple months I had my lebaron. It just ran rich at idle (really rich in the morning).
Like Turd said, running without an O2 isn't a big deal at all. Get the engine nice and warm and use a regular socket and a swivel joint if necessary. I noticed the regular oxygen sensor sockets flex too much due to the slot for the wires.
7/8ths is the o2 wrench size cant find a 22mm
turn the car on it will run rih like they said but will run.
my o2 sensor was out for like 2 months before i got to change it.
turn the car on and wait 5-10 minutes
turn the car off and dissconnect the battery.
press the brake pedal 5 or six times.
remove the o2 sensor
put the new one in
reconnect the battery
all done
ok cool. i just didnt wanna hurt anything by not running with the 02...... ill get out there in the morning and run it for a few minutes then try it with the breaker bar and see if she pops loose. thanx a lot for the help guys!
