i have a 93 plymouth acclaim 3.0 v6. every once in a while i will come to a stop and throw it in park and the car will sputter and die... it doesnt happen all the time but it seems to be happening more often. it doesnt die when i come to a stop in drive its happened maybe once. otherwise its only when i throw it in park. any idea what it could be?? im thinking it could just be a fuel filter. what you guys think??

The same throttle plate carbon problems that plauge the 2.2/2.5L also affect the 3.0L and every other MPFI vehicle.
Clean the throttle plate and AIS and reset the AIS as outlined in the "sticky", "help with poor idle" in the "help" section.
