Cars PT Flea coming?

I found a website listing new Cars 'movie moments' 2-car sets with a listing for PT Flea & Flick. There was some discussion whether the character was a PT Cruiser or not, so hopefully we'll find out for sure. It's not due until September, but at least it's on the schedule.

well...my computor is down to a file deletion....I'm using an old
laptop as of now......the two pack is now available in the uk
and on ebay...still pricey and I would prefer the single but
we will have to wait.......

bought two sets off ebay.co.uk. both ran me 40.00 apiece american.

One of the toy car web sites has them listed on the schedule for next year. If they don't get here, they don't get here. Right now I can't spend $40 on a toy car.

Well...

I got tired of waiting for PT Flea and bought one on EBay for $9. I was one who was sure the design was a nod to the PT Cruiser. I gave them poetic license for dropping the rear doors.

Now that I have it, I think the only way this is a nod to the PT is if the Pixar folks made it just different enough not to need permission from DCX to use it in the movie. It's still going in the display case with my PTs, but not where you can see the back of it.

I did see the 2-pack of PT Flea & Flick at London's Heathrow airport on a business trip in March, but with the conversion from Pounds it would have been about $16. Guess I've gotten cheap, but that was too much.

One can only hope...the way the dollar keeps losing value, I kinda doubt it. Can't be too much longer before it shows up in the States.
