As the thread says. I have an 87 GLHS with 525/555 Transmission with AN ULTRA RARE SHELBY DIFF and McLeod RevLOK II Clutch. All work was done when I bought car. What could be the cause and/or what can I do to make clutch engage sooner?
Is the adjuster mechanism working? I think that even on these older cars, you can pull up slightly on the clutch pedal, push, pull up again and get it self-adjusted. Maybe.
Actually I have first hand experience with a stretched cable(mine just broke btw) but a stretched cable will cause the clutch to engage closer to the floor not farther up in the pedal travel
