While pulling the dash out of my 84 TIi rampage this fell out. It’s a harness to the temp control module. The one end is toast. Where am I gonna find a replacement?
Guess I could just add couplers but how to know which color goes to which connector in the module?

Just found the vacuum diagrams for the temp controller. Guess I’ll just use butt connectors.

I ended up using 2" sections of vacuum hose to restore the connections.

Yipe! My worst fear... I haven't had that happen yet, but I always worried I would break them clean off eventually.

I've seen a repair on a Chevy pickup with tiny snips of colored heat shrink on the hose ends to label them. I thought it was factory when I first saw it.

Pretty much every thing plastic in my rampage was falling apart. I ended up making a sheet metal dash, installed gauges and used a heat controller from a dakota. With trial and error I got it to blow heat and defrost at the same time and left it like that. I guess one really needs a three D printer. Sorry not much help.

Try living in the desert. Here in Tempe AZ plastic breaks, turns to powder, warps, attaching tabs snap off it you touch it..... but the sheet metal looks gorgeous.
