I have a T2 2.2 i just got from a junk yard and i was thinking i would bore it out slightly, since i have to get it machined anyway, but i am not sure how much over i should go. I dont want to make the walls too thin, because i am afraid of the block dying... (Which i am sure is uncommon, but i like to be careful) ( http://www.turbododge.com/forums/showthread.php?t=84387 )
i dont think i want to press my luck with .40 over, i was thinking .30 over, however
i would really like other peoples' opinions before i start down this path
Thanks!

piston oversize

The first oversize is .020 over, also known as .5 mm
2nd oversize is .030/.75 mm last is .040/ 1 mm

Have the block hot tanked and magged for cracks, THEN order pistons.

Mahle pistons are good for most applications and forged "should" be used for high boost/HP level
