I have a 2005 black convertible with black interior which needs some contrast. I'm considering the Sherwood 12-piece kit (at autotrucktoys) but don't know which finish will match my gray stock accents. I think it's either the MET, AD or CI finishes. Any ideas? Has anyone tried this product?

Thanks!

How do you get the center console off? Maybe I'll just paint it myself. Has anyone tried that?
I have a black PT & like the look of genuine carbon fiber. I bought black carbon fiber (I had the taupe/pearl interior...but it'd only look better in the all slate interior IMO). I loved it & it lasted really well over the 7 years I kept it. I just recently we swapped to a painted look. I still have some carbon fiber because I did like the look & removing all the pieces would have been a PITA (like the shifter piece).
You can find dash removal instructions by typing center console or center dash removal in the search bar. This has been discussed a lot & there are some great instructions already out there!
Here are some pics of my interior w/ the CF in the lighter interior. The last pic shows the new painted look, but also has the carbon fiber piece I left on the shifter. My husband taped it off for me & I painted the shifter from taupe to "black effex". That piece gives you a general idea of what black carbon fiber would look like on a slate interior.

Thanks for the info! Your car looks great.

Is that metal or silver contact paper on the steering wheel spokes?

I too have a black 2005 Convertible and I was looking at the same thing, but probably in the brushed aluminum, seeing as my dash and panel ahead of the passenger seat is silver. I'd be interested in knowing how it goes.
