The control head sits in the dash, but there is a module on the heater case, and the case looks different from the pictures in the FSM. I scanned the diagnostics for someone a while back and can email it to you. The most common application of these was the E body. The main case from one of these will fit in a G body, the side window connection might have to be added as E bodies are simply stretched K bodies and share the same dash.
