HOW OLD ARE YOU ??

I fall in the older than dirt group.....How about you ????

My Dad was cleaning out my grandmother's house and he brought me an old Royal Crown Cola bottle. In the bottle top was a stopper with a bunch of holes in it. I knew immediately what it was, but my daughter had no idea. She thought they had tried to make it a salt shaker or something. I knew it as the bottle that sat on the end of the ironing board to "sprinkle" clothes with water because we didn't have steam irons. Man, I am old.

How Many Do You Remember??

Head lights dimmer switches on the floor
Ignition switches on the dashboard
Heaters mounted on the inside of the fire wall
Real ice boxes [Ask your Mom about that]
Pant leg clips for bicycles without chain guards.
Soldering irons you heat on a gas burner.
Using hand signals for cars without turn signals.

All except Blackjack chewing gum. Was that a regional thing?

The universe is 13.7 billion years old. I remember when it was formed. There was no dirt then.

I know of 11of the 25. And remember the Head lights dimmer switches on the floor, Ignition switches on the dashboard
Heaters mounted on the inside of the fire wall, Granma's house Real ice boxes, Pant leg clips for bicycles without chain guards, and I'm still a young pup (34) by the average age PT owner that I have run into. 55 and older. :)

Wouldn't have it any other way :)

Hey just call me dirt. But hey watch the old stuff about the heater on the firewall, the dimmer on the floor and the ignition on the dash. My pickup is sitting in the driveway with the engine still warm and it has all of them

I got 14 of them! I feel the need to share a rather tragic story at this time. Seeing as wringer washers were mentioned, I thought I'd share this story with you. When I was little, our house had a wringer washer. Dumb little thing that I was, I stuck my hand in the wringer, and my arm was pulled all of the way through!!!! 8* 8* 8*

I did exactly the same thing except I was stupid enough to hit the reverse lever instead of the release lever and I backed my arm the whole way out!!

It remember it hurt more rolling out than it did going in.
