It seems like the trend is, either runs well or relatively clean for that price. Although I'm sure there's one out there that's both. I opted for one that "runs well" (although it has its flaws) vs a clean one, because even if the paint is pretty bad I still enjoy driving it (but not the looks people give me, especially when my muffler fell off driving through the park last weekend!!).
