Allpar did an interview with me, about restoring the movie car from The Wraith. Then they learned that we were in touch with Bob Ackerman, who designed the M4S, so they went through us to interview him. I was going to link those but perhaps i should hold back. I've got a ton of photos though. If anyone is interested, i'll post them.technically it is breaking other sites rules when you post there info here lol.
Allpar is the only one that really is pissy though and you can't cross post there photos O well, not much there relevant to us anyway.

I'd be happy to. Many of the photos (of the actual M4S) i have are from Bob himself, and one of the head engineers on the project. I'll have to get permission from them about which ones to use, then i'll draft up some basics on the car. It will probably be a few days before i hear from either of them, so we'll allow some time.as often as the car comes up we can add a sticky here or in the FAQ section if you want to write some thing up with the photos.
I wish i DID own it. I merely helped with restoration and act as a spokesperson for the project. I've spent a lot of time with the car over the last few years. You'll get a kick out of these then.The M4S was my dream car when I first got into 2.2's back in the mid 80's. I have the original Hot Rod Magazine book from 1985 that details all the developement work done on the FWD Dodges up to that time. There is a whole article in there with several pictures of the Cosworth head 2.2 used in it. I still enjoy reading that book and drooling....
They mentioned the M4S in the engine article, but they didn't have any pictures of it at the time. They did have pictures of the original Charger 2.2 pace car, the styling exercise from the following year, and the prototype Daytona used in 83-84 that managed to run 174 mph.
I've seen most in here, being a twin turbo creation and all. However, since it's for the masses, perhaps it would be better suited elsewhere. Perhaps check with other mods, or admins and see what they think? I wouldn't want to start it somewhere and it being the wrong spot. Just another headache for you guys to deal with.yeah I think we should get one good thread going, pull in photos from other threads. Then have one good right up. You should do the thread, so it has your name on it and do a write up first. Then we can add photos of the car and such past that and have a sticky for it. Then people can all hit the same thread lol. I would put it in the FAQ section but people normally don't go through there every often. Maybe the lounge? I haven't paid attention where most M4S posts end up lol
They're out there, but you're going to pay top dollar for them. I was looking for replacement rims for our project and found a guy selling a set in California. He wanted $500 a rim. Every now and then you catch them on ebay.they're BBS wheels. Chances of finding a set are slim to none.
