Does anyone do custom SBEC TBI calibrations?

I have a '94 Dakota with a 2.5 5 speed stick and was wondering if anybody did custom cals for the TBI ecu's. I was planing on geting the intake I scored off of ebay ported, adding a header and maybe a better cam if I can find one. But I don't know if a stock ecu could handle this.

Damn I was hopeing maybe some did the custom TBI SBEC cals and I just have not found them yet. I have heard of that D-Cal think I just don't think that is within my limited abilitys with computers and tuning. But I was also thinking a custom cal would go nicely with those mods. Well if I go lean at WOT maybe I can bypass the stock fuel pressure regulator and turn up the pressure a little with a universale one.
No the intake is not ported (yet) but maybe I will be the first one to get it done. Yeah no one makes headers for a 2.5 dakota that I know of that is why I will have to get some custom made. Where do I find cams for a 2.5 tbi with roller lifters?
You can try Typert on this board, he makes headers and could possibly make you one!

For a cam, Colt Cams in Abbotsford, BC makes custom grinds!
Howdy,

Last time I was on The Dodge Garage, I looked at the sawzall Horizon chop up, and noticed a particular something....

"After fiddling with the SMEC computer for a day or two (anyone need their TBI computer reprogrammed? No problem..)"

Could be an option for someone wanting to improve on the Good Ole TBI, kinda wish I still had my Horizon.....

So it is not for a beginer?
Oh I guess that would be a no then. I will have to keep looking and waiting for somone to offer custom SBEC TBI computers or convert to MPI and get a custom turbo computer.
Is smec easier? I ask not only because thats what I have, but if it is easier then it shouldn't be too much more involved for martin to switch over to smec and do a custom tune right?

Now your thinking, or you could use the turbo intake and wire the injectors to fire all at once!
What about the FFV spirit's computer, MPI N/A from factory.

BTW, was the FFV batch fire or sequential injection???

There is a guy out there that did that. He liked it but he lost idle quality and mileage. So I don't really see the point of going that way.
I could also do Mega Squirt II now that it controls ignition. But I just don't know if it will work with the stock ignition on the 2.2/2.5 engines.
I just can't deside!
The FFV was a SBEC and was sequential so there are 3d tables in it. It is the same SBEC as the 92 turbo ecept for the cal.

So, wouldn't it be a better place to start to customize a N/A ecu than with a
TBI??? Wouldn't it make things a little easier??
