How are you guys that completed the 2.4 with older 5-spd swap aligning the engine to the trans since one of the allignment dowels does not match up with the transmission. I am just wondering because with only one there is a small amount you can move the transbefore you tighten the bolts and I am concerned about starter alignment. Any advice is appreciated.

I have no answer for you, but I'll give you a bump because I'm gathering all of the information to mate a 2.4 to a 555, maybe even a beefed up 525.

Sounds like you're pretty deep in, is the tranny pretty much just bolt and go?

unless your thinking 2.0 NA don't be thinking 525 trans lol. But a DOHC 2.0 has the right passenger side mount and with megasquirt would make a pretty easy swap
