Evo 8 Lancer Intercooler Any Good?
How about a stock EVO 8 I/C vs a stock SRT/4 I/C?? Any good?

Oh, thats it, i thought it would be way better considering the EVO gets almost 300hp from a 2.0L, must have better I/c, but mabey not! The srt/4 I/C will be WAAAAY cheaper.

I spoke to Simon aka "Turbovanman" and he stated that the SRT4 intercooler is pretty good. He said there's been some cases where people have switched to an aftermarket one and LOST power. I'd say take the cheaper one!
Some guy on here has a Spirit R/T with one and ran mid 13s with just that an exhaust
The EVO also runs up to 18-20 psi of boost too. Use the SRT one, your car will love you for it. 
Wow, i didnt think the SRT intercooler was that good! When you say the EVo also runs up to 18-20psi boost too, isnt that a good thing?

The evo unit is good, but you'll pay a premium for it vs the SRT unit. Get the SRT one and you'll be VERY happy with it.
