florida junk yards

I live in Avon Park. It is about 70 miles south of orlando and 90 miles east of tampa. I just picked up an 89 Daytona for my son. I need to find a junk yard or yards that I can walk through for parts. I need some parts that would cost too much to ship. Anybody know of a few yards. There is nothing right around me.

Saint Cloud junk yard only has a Town and country convertible 2.2 L. What kind of parts are you looking for?

My in laws live in Lake Placid.
About 10 miles south of there on 27 there is a junkyard on the east side on the road.
It's huge.
I've always wanted to walk through there.
Probably about 40 minutes from you.

by chance would you know the name of the yard? I just drove back from the keys Tuesday and drove right by there but did not notice any yards. edit I think I might have found it, could it be old south auto salvage in venus?

I need a drivers fender. A drivers door only if its priced right mine is fixable. I need the ground effects from the header panel. The piece between the header and radiator support. Seats if the price is right. AC compressor bracket. radiator hold down brackets. Battery tray plus most of the bolts for all of the above.

The guy I got the car from said most of the stuff was in the car but it wasn't what was there was stuff from a 92 he stripped. Some of the bolts will work but all aluminum except the turbo head was scrapped.

Old South does ring a bell
I don't know how you could miss it
Being I'm from Ohio, I know there's some clean 80's TD's hiding in there
Tim, The only car in the Saint Cloud junk yard is an 87 town and county convertible. Would that work? Their phone number is 407-892-3569. Ask to speak to Steve.

From what I saw they just had racks near the road full of pick up beds and front clips. Thats all it looked like unless they have a yard hidden behind that.
Tim
Yard is behind that. In this area it's rare to find one of our turbo's.
