I was told those are bulb powered, that you can remove the bulb and replace
the old unit, but does anybody have a part number?

How hard is it and what proceedure do you take to remove the units?

I seen one large bolt that hold the unit in place but is that all it takes or did I not see something?

Yes, they are removable. You can get the bulbs anywhere. Like $5.00 at Walmart. They are 55 watts. You could always put a 100 watt bulb in. I'm not sure if the thing would last though. It may overheat. They cost the same or possibly a very little more.
They are H3 bulbs. Here's a link to some pictures.
