Hey guys,New to the forum and have a few questions. I picked up a 85 laser turbo xt project.The fuel pump is shot.I see a few turbo pumps offered on Ebay from 30 to 100$+. Has anybody had experience with any of these units?
It looks like you can change the pump without removing the tank?maybe?My first was a new 87 daytona turbo c/s package,black with grey cloth,5 speed.Miss that car!!!!!Im in MI looking for these type projects,let me know! Thanks Allan

I don't think you need to remove the tank completely, just have to unbolt the straps and drop it a bit

Nope, don't even need to do that. In fact, you don't even need to jack up the car at all to get the the fuel pump.

Dropping the tank down a lil on a lift makes it alot easier! Especially if the the sucker is original and is a lil rusted to the tank then it helps alot!
Idk your budget but I would go ahead and a walboro 255l/hr!
They pump plenty of fuel and can support modding quite well!
