FWDPerf TURBO SATURN?

1604 Views 15 Replies 11 Participants Last post by  02gcaravan
Hey guys my dad is using one of our mitsu's to turbo a 1995 SC2 DOHC 1.9 saturn engine....its kind of funny that turbosaturns.net tells him that he should get his injectors at fwdperformance.com. Does anyone have any idea what injectors that would work for 5-6psi??any input would be much appreciated. :)

Injector sizing is based on fuel requirement. So...toss as big as you can go on!!! :D Just kidding. 30ish?
yeh who cares if gas is comeing out of the tailpipe.......i know this isnt thebest place to post...but i thought maybe theres a chance that aguy might know something....kinda of looking to see what j-yard injectors we can find....because the lbs's,impedence all matter...
Thats freaking awesome. My friend has a 2001 SC2. It's kind of funny because we try to make it faster, lol.

Keep us updated on the project.
Go back to turbosaturns.net and read.

There are more than enough information for boosting a saturn...

thanks for the obvious :rolleyes2
I would think the stockers could handle 5-6 psi fine with a RRR
well hes going with a chrysler 3.3 injector out of a dynasty (24lb) low impedance and running a RRR.. That seems to me a straight forward setup. Theres megasquirt but that seems really difficult....
I've heard nothing but problems about the heads on those Saturns, I wonder how well they hold up under boost... I've heard they crack extremely easy as it is, under just typical driving conditions.
you could check out Ian's site www.qcsltwo.com or talk to Ian through other message boards. I know he is on clubsi.com and his screen name is qksl2.

A friend on mine here in Ohio runs that web site. Last I heard his Saturn DOHC was 330whp on a Mustang dyno. I've ridden in it and it is a monster!

Heads are great. There's a guy putting out 340 "whp" on a Saturn head.

www.alphatuning.com That's the guys site and turbo kits.

The injectors used depends on how you use them. On my now defunct project I was going to use 2 52# Mopar injectors right before the TB. They would be controlled by a EIC computer to kick in at a certain boost level. Even though my old project was a supercharger, the basic ideas behind F/I on a Saturn are the same, except for N2O.
