Not sure where to post this sorry if im in the wrong place.
I'm looking at trying to swap a 2.2/523 and performance sbec from a Daytona into a 91 auto/v6 mini. Both cars are complete. I have no experience with sbecs, v6s or minis.
The van belongs to a friend, its currently 30 minutes out of the way, but the trans is shot so hes say I'm welcome to it. The Daytona just needs more than I'm willing to put into it.
Q's I have atm are will that ECU work, what are the harness differences, are the mounts a direct swap, etc.
Also I have a 520 w shifter/cables if the 523 is an issue

Thanks in advance for any insight it's much appreciated!

the main problem with that year van is it has a body control module.
dropping in the daytona engine trans and wiring is not a huge deal.
but geting it to work with the BCM is going to be a bugger.

I would expect you should consider a switch panel to run the car.
and not have high hopes of getting the cluster happy.
possibly needing to rewire the fuel pump circuit.

Wow. Immediately exactly wat I was looking for lol. I'll have to search some on switch panel, that's uncharted territory for me. I'm pretty sure it's a 91 if it happens to b a 90 wud that also have a bcm?

90's do not have BCM.
the difference between 90 and 91 is severe. completely different model/bodies.

1991 front end.

1990 front end.

if the grill and front is FLAT verticle. its a 1984-1990 mode.

if the front and grill is slanted its a 91-95 model.
