Wasn't sure if I should put this in here or the interior forum, but whatever.

The Gauge cluster in my 86 Turbo Z took a crap a while ago (Odemeter stopped working and voltmeter was erratic). So this weekend I grabbed one out of a low mileage 86 Laser XT. The only difference between the two cars was that the Laser had the 12 button navigator and power windows. But when I compared the two gauge clusters, there were two differences. One, there was an extra circuit board that clipped on the driver's side of the Daytona's box that was not on the Laser's. Don't know what it does, but I swapped it over anyway. Second and wierdest, the Laser's cluster does NOT have any circuits for the temperature warning light. The circuit ribbon is riveted to the main board, so I can't just swap it. Not terribly worried about it, but wondered why there was any difference in the first place?
