going for 400 whp looking for parts sugjestions its gonna be an 8 valver in a lbody

555 trans or 568 whatever someone sells me
lsd moly plate
rev loc clutch
tu rods
weisco pistons
cast crank
posibly 4 bolt mains
ported head with bigger valves
tu hybrid header
s70 turbo
spearco intercooler
+40s 255lph pump
either 2 peice ported intake or custom sheetmetal not sure
custom smec cal
see any problems with this making 400 whp

any other ideas welcome

S70 turbo won't do
+40 injectors are way too small.

You're looking at 35-40psi of boost to make that power. Don't expect to drive it on the street.

ok so what injectors and around what size hybrid and like 350 on pump gas and around 400 on race fuel sound better:thumb: and i do wanna drive it on weekends

50 trim turbo stage 3 or Gt3076r is what you need. You can go bigger also but 8V will get more lag.

even with it ported to the hilt? and some lag is ok to me for just cruzing around

yeah get the best ported head you can get and at least a 50trim. Your going to need a great cal also, may want to look into making your own

thats the plan gonna learn how to make cals with some help from others just letting everyone pick out the flaws so i can build it better

400 whp is not easy to get on a 8V, everything must be done perfect and the cal is VERY important. You need to control your AF,timing and monitor Af and Knock.
Trying to jump step usaualy cost a rebuild

Add to your list methanol/water injection system.

yeah i left all that out because i know i need that stuff got a common block motor and innovative is the shit so i was gonna run that and do they sell an rpm converter? i just left that out cause thats kind of obvious i guess

want to stay eight valve if i wanted a sixteen valve i would have put one in and i will do that one day to an omni but im doing this right now. i want to beat all the sixteen valves the old school way
