I know there has been talk of it. With Xmas coming up and all IDK if now would be a good time to get that list together. Right now might be the best time when some might have money after the holiday to do a big order. Not saying everyone can, but idk if its a good time to get a list starting? I want in. do we need orders for 2 different sizes? With a Pbody I need a 1/2 inch.

thanks:shrug:

I may be interested in this if someone can provide details. P-body here also.
i would be interested in one for a G-body
Does a tona have clearence for 1inch?
I'm down if Ed wants to make some more. Love the work he does.
I would have to measure, but i thought it was 1/2" spacers
i thought it was the same as the spirit.. 1inch total is perfect. half inch works but has a couple hassles.

Mine was 1 inch. Had to cut away a bit of the webbing inside the hood for it to fit without rubbing. It still may of a tiny bit at times when the engine rocked.
ehh thats no bigi :) solid mounts should be a must for anyone doing mods imo
I would like a set! 1 inch is what i ran on my lebaron and daytona.
Can someone describes me this spacer and what it is used for ?

the spacer is to cut down the curve that is very sharp when the upper is joined to the lower. it also cuts heat down from getting to the upper. i have seen estimates that put the HP gain from 5 hp to 8 hp.
Thanks
It is made for the 3.0 engines ?
If it works with the 2.5 turbo, I'm also interested (P body)
Don't know the price though

sorry my friend but these are for the 3.0. the 2.5 has no such spacer.
The 1inch is what got the 8tq and 5hp gain and im pretty sure it had other supporting mods too

The spacer is a must for flipping the intake so the throttle body is on the passenger side to make room for a crossover mounted turbo. It also allows a better location for cold air intakes

edit: you guys should get a list of people that have cash NOW and of people that want more info (what the price will be, size, etc) and then find someone (like ed maybe) that can get you the hook up on spacers

the worst thing about group buys is everyone wants some but only half end up paying, so make sure you have your cash ready :thumb:
Here is what I can do it for.

number of orders and cost per set

2-3 $190
4-5 $130
6-7 $100
8+ $85

All spacers would be 1/2" thick and made of nylon and CNC cut.
A set is 2 spacers and bolts.
Prices do not include shipping to you. They should fit in a $4.95 USPS flat rate envelope, if so shipping will be $4.95 (for those in the US.)
my bad, i thought that these would be for the 8v motors
sorry guys

if you want one, it shouldnt be hard to fab up. I made mine by taking an intake gasket and scanning it on the computer. i then used the class computer controlled laser cutter machine of awesomeness and had them cut out of 1/4inch mild steel. 4 spacers later i have 1/2inch total for each side

im sure you could do it for an 8valve in the same fashion. i would want a dyno though because i cant see a need for it other than possible some extra tq to do extending the runners? we use them to flip the intake around, no necessarily for the power. thats a bonus :thumb:

so ed gave prices, those are not bad prices to have them professionally done. so basically if you get 8 people, you get the lowest price. GET IT DONE!
