ive been looking at fel pro mls head gaskets for my 10.1 motor,
they list diffrent number for the dimante version and ours , the dimante is also more money, wounder what the diffrence is.....

I wonder also. I used a gasket set off ebay with the carbon head gaskets. The Fel-Pro gaskets look better, I hope these ebay head gaskets hold up well.

if the ebay gasket kit you got was from JIS, then it'll hold up. I've used their gasket kits in the past for other import v6 motors. If it's not a JIS kit, then good luck. Let us know how it works out for ya.

here are some common felpro head gasket part numbers for the 3.0L
(feel free to add if you got a diff number)
3.0 sohc: 9112PT
3.0 dohc: 9842PT
3.0 dohc turbo: 26186PT
3.0 sohc 24v: 26215PT

my engine is stock bore.....i dont think i need anything too special for a head gakset, ide rather a composite gasket then a copper,a lot of high psi dsm guys are going back to the facory part,

on that note, my buddy greg(who built me wide band and Ms)
is building stroked out 46g3 2.3 with over 30 psi boost, he ran 12.1 last year smoking all 4 tires at 27 psi, i cant wait for a run in that car
