So I have a 88' Non-CB with a 89+ cross-drilled head and I may need to change the head gasket. I might have a intake leak which really means pulling the head to check it lol. I'm not sure which gasket i'll need. I think its the 005 seeing how the block isn't cross drilled so no need for the passages to the head. Let me know, and maybe someone can make a sticky of which gaskets can be used for what combo's.

Yes I see a difference. I have never had one of these heads off. That is why I ask. I am guessing the 006 has the smaller holes between the cylinders that has the option of being drilled out? From the picture I would be guessing which is the 005 and and which is the 006?

I never had a prob with the extra holes in the gasket and no c drilling in block or head

though I always used a fel pro print a seal ('cept once I used a pos mc cord that did not have conjoined fire rings and that's where things went wrong)

I refused to use the mopar ones 'cause they go punky around the water passages in 60k
(and I can do that kind of milage in not much more n a year - sometimes)
