All T2 engines use the 782 Swirl head which was introduced on 86 models. The 445 or 287 G head will fit any engine with no machine work. Using this head on a T2 will not cause any issues, but the timing will not be as agressive as it should be since the later heads computers are programmed differently for the swirl head. You can compensate somewhat by running more timing, or best --get a custom cal for it.
