I have a small problem I'ts a 2.2 turbo 2,My car had some idle problem's,we had to take the head, intake, exhaust and turbo off,the head has been revised ,Also a new gaskets set fore everything that came off,(also a new fuel pump)
We've put everything back in place and while test driving i can hear the turbo spooling up then suddenly at around 4-5k Rpm it seems like the injectors are shut down because the turbo is overboosting? When looking at the boost gauge it was above 12+,is it possible i turned the boost higher somehow?

Btw it gave some fault code's 13,45 and 51

Jordan.

Investigate the code 45 first. Follow that link and look at the causes for code 45. from what you've described, you've hit overboost shutdown, and that is proven by the code 45. It'll tell you to check vac lines, wastegate solenoid, actuator, wastegate, etc. Is it possible that when you did the repairs that you disturbed a vac line?
