Reading through numerous post about HEP failures, it seems the wires are the weak spot.

Just wondering if anyone attempted to replace the HEP wires with something a little more robust?

I have some 20 ga silicone insulated wire I bought to use for some low current wire in areas it needs to flex. I am using it to modify my power seat system to use 6 small relays under the seat connected to power and ground with the switches in the driver's door armrest (like the J body convertibles had at one point) this makes the wire bundle smaller and with this wire very flexible.

If someone has a HEP with bad wires, I am game to see if these can be used on it.
