Well aparently forged pistons dont like missing piecesMVaughn said:What happened to the block, piston and crank. Do I need to ask?
Sorry to here that Russ, but now I don't feel so bad about spending an extra $90 for my forged crank (20 for the crank and 70 to get it turned ). When I already had a good cast one. .russ jerome said:Well aparently forged pistons dont like missing pieces

Bent crank was only noticed after trying to figure out why
main bearings had odd wear.....just say no to cast I guess.
Motor has a lot of miles on it, apears to be recent failure.
Would not feel so bad but complete motor was profesionaly
built assembled just so I would not blame myself, guess who
is assembling this one Crank shows .006" at middle bearing
and was just turned .010 under a year ago.
