Thanks for the responses guys.We couldn't make out the part numbers so we counted the pins on the chip and when we were pretty sure Bradd cut the rubber out and soldered in a new socket for me.
One of the biggest change they made between 90-91 SBEC and 92-95 SBEC 2, is the cruise control is multiplexed in the later system, VS a separate wire for Set/Coast and Res/Acc. Plug it in and test it there will be a couple mishaps. But the wiring isn't far enough off to do any harm.
