I need to know how to upgrade the stock fan in my 1983 dodge omni N/A so I can get a little more room in the engine bay when working.

a thinner aftermarket electric fan in place of the bulky stock fan will give some room,

or for more room get a 'pusher' fan and mount it in front of the rad (do you have A/C ? might need dual fans ..)

but, the stock fan is just held in by 2 bolts, pretty eze to remove for maintenance work .. ?

With A/C (that you expect to actually function when its Hot out)
you will need a bunch of airflow, like maybe

I can sell you a fan that flows a bunch and cheaper than any market market fan out there, but you have to make your own fan shroud as I did.
