Ken, they can be identified by the shape and construction of the housings , if they are original axles, the boots themselves can help in identifying them by looking at the number of folds. There is a diagram in the service manual that shows the four different manufacturers. the other two are saginaw (SSG) and ACI.

GKN or Citroen??? How do you tell the difference. Are There others??

Thanks, I'll open the service manual when I get home. These are the Solid round inners as opposed to the "tulip" shaped inners.
