i'm wondering if there are any safe mods that create a blow off valve sound on my 85 dodge charger shelby...knowing that i cannot install a blow off valve due to the car being non-intercooled, is there any way i can achieve that sound? the engine is the stock 2.2 turbo. thanks!

It's not to do with the lack of an intercooler, it's because of the configuration of the throttle body. Converting over to a later style T1, or T2 configuration is the most practical way.

Lol BOV serves no purpose on a log intake t1. There's no pressure to be relieved. Only "blow through" cars got them (1988-up for tI)

Why do it for the sound? I really don't care for it myself.

I had to take my factory BOV out of the airbox because my quick release valve kept falling off. I hated that sound, and I got it back in there as soon as I ghetto rigged it back together lol.

Convert to TII, if you need the sound. Easier potential for power, and can add intercoolers, etc easier than the log setup.
