1989 Chrysler 2.5 Tubo cooling line at the thermostat housing . I removed the line to do some work and not that I have reinstalled it , it leaks . I looks like just a flare fit but no matter what I do I cant stop the drip . Was there a "O" ring that I did not see, that fell out . Thanks for any help

No O'Rings.
Either you damaged the flare or threads and it is not seating fully or if that checks ok try a thread sealing compound.

Thank no "O" ring , Cant see how I could have damaged the flare but I will put some teflon tape and sealing compound give it a try

Teflon tape and sealing compound doesn't work on flared fittings.It's only good on NPT fittings. The water pipe has a smaller flared fitting that slips inside the water pipe. Make sure it's still in there. Flare fittings rarely give trouble.

I agree flared fitting seldom leak, but for some reason this one does .
