Leaking oil feed line potentially

I have been having a pretty bad oil leak for a while and I think I’ve narrowed it down to this oil line leading to the turbo. I’m assuming it is an oil feed line to the turbo, but I’m not sure what this cylinder think is. It looks like it’s clamp fitted on, but it is leaking oil right where the line enters on the right side. If anyone could help me out with what it is, and how I should solve it that would be awesome. Thanks!

Replace it with a stainless line kit from fwd perf or turbos Unleashed.

Ah ok cool, thanks for letting me know. It’s the oil feed line correct?

That bolt holding the bracket that is around the oil line, isn't under pressure, but it can leak oil substantially. Make sure when replacing this line that you pull out the the bolt and reseal the threads. That right rear bolt at bottom of your picture also can wick out oil from the headbolt it intersects with.

That hose is under pressure it might not be the leak. if you look at this picture this is where my TBI car was leaking..

A little glue fixed it.

I had checked there first and sprayed everything I thought was leaking with engine degreaser, that and the valve cover were good. I took the little rubber pieces off the turbo feed line and it is leaking from the rubber hose.👍

I make my own Turbo oil supply lines from pre-flared steel brake lines.

Two lines with a brass connector in case ever I have to remove the head.

Everything stays perfectly dry.

Thanks

Randy what size line do you run? Stock is rather large at 5/16". I would think 1/4" would be more than sufficient. Even smaller if you use a later BB turbo. They require a .031" restrictor at the turbo inlet.
Hi Todd:

Sorry I missed your post but yes I use 2, 12" regular 5/16" brake lines.

They join with a regular brass brake line connector by the cyl head.

Thanks
Randy
