Do any of you have the overall engine dimensions for a T1 or T2 motor? I need the following info measured as the motor sits in the car:
bottom of oil pan to top of valve cover
bottom of oil pan to top of intake (if it's higher than the VC)
width front to back
length from pullies to bellhousing face

I tried googling this stuff and searching here but I can't find it.

The sis separated from the bro-in-law so I don't have access to the T1 powered buggy anymore.

Fully dressed weight on the N/A 2.2 is 216 lbs. On the T3 motor, it's 364 lbs.
I haven't found that info on the T1 and T2 yet.

The 364 seems really high but that's what I've seen. I'd think it was more like 264 lbs. A turbo and extra cam doesn't add that much weight.

Actually,a TIII is alot heavier than an 8valve turbo motor. Have you ever tried to pick up a loaded TIII head assembly? Ya,much heavier than you would think. I would guess that number is right:thumb:

are you putting this in a sand rail?
Just brainstorming at the moment. If it happens, there will be no sand involved.

It's probably best that I leave it at that.
